3 More Sounds was created as a tribute to pianist Gene Harris' group, The 3 Sounds. From 1969-1970, Henry Franklin, "The Skipper", on bass and Carl Burnett on drums joined the trio and released several albums, including "Soul Symphony" and "Live at the IT Club".
