3 More Sounds was created as a tribute to pianist Gene Harris' group, The 3 Sounds. From 1969-1970, Henry Franklin, "The Skipper", on bass and Carl Burnett on drums joined the trio and released several albums, including "Soul Symphony" and "Live at the IT Club". Robert Turner on piano is an amazing fit in being true to Gene's style with a fresh feel.
